Product description
This Temperature Probe (model PT100 Ex II 1/2G) is a high-reliability sensor designed for critical process control in demanding environments. It features two Pt100 platinum resistance elements (Class B, DIN EN 60751) for stable and accurate temperature measurement. Engineered for safety, it is tested according to DIN EN 14597 for use with safety temperature limiters and monitors like the JUMO safetyM series. The probe has a robust stainless steel 1.4541 protection tube and a ¾” steel swivel nut, ensuring durability in media such as water and oil at pressures up to 35 bar. With a sensor element length of 185 mm and a neck tube up to 80 mm, it is suitable for various industrial installations. This sensor holds ATEX approval (Exi BVS 03 ATEX E292 X) for use in hazardous areas, certified for Ex II 1/2G Ex ia IIC T4/T6 Ga/Gb and Ex II 1/2D Ex ia IIIB T135°C Da/Db, making it a dependable solution for safeguarding heat transmission plants and other thermal systems.
