The Siemens LAL2.25 is a versatile and reliable oil burner control designed for the supervision and control of medium to high-capacity oil atomization burners in intermittent operation. It is universally applicable for multistage or modulating yellow-flame burners and includes air pressure supervision with a functional check of the air pressure monitor at startup. The LAL2.25 manages the complete burner startup sequence, featuring a 22.5-second pre-purge time and a 5-second safety time, ensuring safe ignition and operation. It supervises the flame using either a QRB1 photoresistive detector or a RAR selenium photocell detector. Housed in an impact-proof, heat-resistant black plastic case, the unit is engineered for safety and ease of use, with a lockout indicator to diagnose faults. This control is intended for OEM integration and is tested and certified to EN 230 standards.
