Contained within the fluid-filled expansion tank, the level limiter float system transmits movement from level changes directly to a micro-switch (S1) via a swimmer rod sealed by a stainless-steel bellows. The rod’s fulcrum is located outside the pressure chamber for greater reliability. A function check as per DIN 4754-3 can be conveniently performed using an external test button without altering the fluid level. The switching point depends on the heat carrier’s density (minimum 0.6 kg/dm ³), with an optional warning switch (S2) available. Each NK10 unit is delivered according to the specific order code and comes with an operating manual, plus an additional safety manual for SIL-certified versions. Keep in mind that the flange is not included with the NK10 5.
