The JUMO safetyM TB/TW is a highly adaptable, DIN rail-mountable temperature limiter and monitor, configurable as either a TB or TW. It features a universal measurement input compatible with RTD temperature probes, thermocouples, and standard current/voltage signals, including a 2 x Pt100 input for differential measurement. A clear alphanumeric display provides easy-to-read information, while a digital input filter with an adjustable time constant ensures measurement stability. The device safeguards thermal processes by switching to a secure state via an integrated relay if a preset limit—adjustable as an absolute or relative value—is exceeded, indicated by an LED changing from green to red. While the temperature limiter (TB) requires manual reset, the temperature monitor (TW) resets automatically. A pre-alarm with its own LED provides an early warning. Advanced configuration, including setting one of 17 available linearizations, and data archiving are managed through a PC setup program. The unit supports a wide supply voltage range of 110-240V AC and offers both internal and external locking options for enhanced security.
