The ECON Type 7646 is a robust, 3-piece stainless steel ball valve designed for permanent, secure installation via welding ends (Socket Weld or Butt Weld). This 1/2″ valve features a 1000 PSI WOG pressure rating and is constructed from high-grade 1.4408 stainless steel with durable PTFE seats, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Its full bore design ensures unrestricted flow, minimizing pressure drop. Key features include a lockable handle for operational safety, an anti-static device, and a cavity relief hole in the ball to prevent trapped pressure. With an operating temperature range of -29°C to 205°C, it is highly recommended for light industrial processes, including food and beverage applications, as confirmed by its FDA and EC 1935/2004 compliance. The 3-piece body allows for easy in-line maintenance, making the Type 7646 a reliable and serviceable choice for systems requiring a permanent, leak-proof connection.
