The Siemens LOK16.250A27 is a safe burner control unit designed for universal application in medium to high-capacity forced draught oil burners. It ensures reliable operation through a self-checking flame supervision circuit, making it suitable for continuous or intermittent service, including in plants that run for more than 24 hours without interruption. The control manages the complete burner sequence, from a 22-second pre-purge to ignition and flame monitoring using a RAR9 silicon photocell detector. With a safety time of 5 seconds, it will initiate a lockout if a stable flame is not established, preventing dangerous conditions. Its control program and connection scheme are identical to the LAL2.25 allowing for straightforward upgrades of existing systems. The LOK16.250 is also equipped with air pressure control for managing air dampers, enhancing efficiency and safety.
