AS-Schneider Gauge Valves are engineered for direct mounting to pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, and pressure switches, manufactured and tested in compliance with DIN 16271 standards. While the 1/2 NPT connection variant and gauge valves with test flanges fall outside DIN 16271 specifications, standard models meet rigorous performance criteria. These valves are rated for maximum working pressures of 250 bar (3,626 psi) for brass construction and 400 bar (5,801 psi) for carbon steel and stainless steel variants. The standard maximum operating temperature is 120°C (248°F) for liquid, gas, or vapor applications, reflecting DIN 16271 requirements for protecting valves and measuring instruments from thermal damage through proper installation with syphons or adequately sized impulse lines. For specialized applications, AS-Schneider valves can operate at elevated temperatures up to 300°C (572°F) with graphite sealing, or up to 232°C (450°F) with PTFE sealing materials, providing enhanced flexibility for demanding industrial processes.
