This highly modular and robust Omnigrad S TR88 RTD thermometer from Endress+Hauser is designed for versatile use across nearly all industries. It utilizes a Pt100 temperature sensor conforming to IEC 60751, which has a resistance of 100 Ω at 0 °C. The sensor is available in two main types: wire-wound (WW) for high reproducibility and long-term stability up to 600 °C, and thin-film (TF), which offers a compact size and superior vibration resistance, ideal for temperatures up to approximately 300 °C for high accuracy. With a variety of process connections, dimensions, and materials, the TR88 offers flexible application possibilities. For enhanced measurement accuracy and reliability compared to directly wired sensors, it can be equipped with an optional head transmitter supporting all common communication protocols, making it a ready-to-use and dependable solution for diverse industrial applications.
