NIVOSWITCH vibrating fork level switches provide reliable point level detection for liquids and solids by using an electronically excited fork that changes its vibration upon contact with the material, triggering an output signal. Ideal for controlling filling and emptying in tanks and silos, they also provide critical fail-safe alarms for overfill and dry-run protection. The range includes parallel forks for liquids and non-parallel forks for solids, with highly polished versions for abrasive media and plastic-coated models for aggressive substances. Standard PNP/NPN outputs allow direct connection to PLCs, while UNICONT PKK switching amplifiers can be used for high-current applications or to power intrinsically safe units in hazardous (Ex) areas. ATEX nivoswitches are also availlable.
