The Konutherm economizers (exhaust gas heaters) are used to recover the waste heat from exhaust gas. The heavy-duty economizer valve system combines optimum control of the required temperature and protects and prevents degradation of the heat transfer oil. A dump cooler is therefore not required in a Konutherm thermal oil system.

The expansion vessel covers for the HTF expansion fluctuations during heating and cooling of the heat transfer fluid.

The Konutherm fired heater guarantees the thermal oil supply temperature to the heat consumers (adjustable up to 350-400°C for our heater). The heater can be provided with a LFO/MDO/HFO-, gas or dual fuel-fired burner or even electric elements.

The circulation pump (one duty, one spare) is to maintain sufficient circulation of the heat transfer fluid throughout the whole system.

The automatic constant flow valve is to guarantee a minimum flow to the heater, independent of the number of consumers in operation.
